How to play

Be the first to complete all ten phases. Each round you try to lay down your current phase. Make it and you move up; miss it and you try the same phase again next round.

Your turn

  1. Draw one card, from the deck or the top of the discard pile.
  2. Lay down your phase if you can. Drag cards into the slots, or select cards and tap a slot. Suggest fills them for you.
  3. Add to the table. Once you've laid down, you can add cards to any group on the table, yours or anyone's.
  4. Discard one card to end your turn.

The round ends the moment someone plays or discards their last card.

Groups

  • Set: cards of the same number, like 7 7 7. Colors don't matter.
  • Run: numbers in order, like 4 5 6 7. Colors don't matter. Runs stop at 1 and 12.
  • Color: cards that all share one color, any numbers.

The deck

Number cards 1 to 12 in red, blue, green and yellow, plus Wilds and Skips.

  • Wild stands in for any card in a set, run or color group.
  • Skip makes another player miss their next turn. Discard it to use it. Skips can't go in groups or be picked up from the discard pile.

Scoring

When a round ends, everyone else scores penalty points for the cards left in their hand. Lower is better.

Cards 1 to 95 points
Cards 10 to 1210 points
Skip15 points
Wild25 points

Once someone completes the Final Phase (the tenth), the player with the lowest score among those who finished it wins.

Campaign stars

Campaign levels use a few phases at a time, with the same rules: a round ends when someone runs out of cards. Finish your last phase with the lowest score to clear the level. You earn one star for clearing it, two for doing it within the round target, and three for also keeping your penalty points low.

Tips

  • Hold Wilds for the hard part of your phase, usually the long run.
  • Watch the discard pile. The game tells you when the top card completes or helps your phase.
  • Once you've laid down, dump high cards and Wilds onto the table first. They cost the most if you get caught.
  • Skip whoever is closest to going out.
